Every evening there will be 2 seminars, featuring speakers from Creation Research and Answers in Genesis, dealing with Biblical and scientific topics. Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to ask questions to the speakers. Find out more about the speakers and their topics below.

Joseph Hubbard, FGS
Joseph Hubbard BSc, PGDip, PhD Cand, FGS, is a speaker, writer and researcher for Creation Research Worldwide. He has a degree in palaeobiology, a specialist diploma in animal studies, and is a Fellow of the Geological Society. His academic work specialises in analysing soft tissue in fossil bones, and he also worked as a zookeeper for 6 years before joining Creation Research full time as UK Director in 2019. Joseph has become an in-demand speaker throughout the world, speaking on the evidence of Creation, Noah’s Flood, and the historicity of the Bible, as well as leading field trips and running the global museum project for Creation Research. Joseph will be speaking on the history of palaeontology and dinosaur hunting, particularly focussing on the Christian beliefs of the early scientists who founded the science in, ‘A Brief History of Dinosaur Hunting’.
Simon Turpin
Simon Turpin BA, MA, is the executive director and speaker for Answers in Genesis–UK/Europe. He holds a BA in biblical and intercultural studies and an MA in theology. Since 2015, Simon has spoken at churches across the UK, the Republic of Ireland, Spain, and Russia on creation apologetics. He is married to Jessica, and together they home educate their seven children. Simon has written several articles for AiG’s Answers Research Journal, and is also the author of Adam: First and the Last, Scoffers and several other booklets. In addition, Simon is often featured in many productions exclusively on Answers TV. Simon will be speaking on the the importance of recognising both Adam and Christ as real people in ‘Adam, the First and the Last’, and will be providing a critique of attempts to fit evolution in the Bible in ‘Theistic Evolution & the Bible’


Craig Hawkins
Craig Hawkins BSc, MSc, was raised in a Christian family and is the son of a Church of Christ pastor. He has worked with Creation Research on various occasions since 2006 and became fulltime in 2022.Craig graduated in science at the Australian National University, achieving the Schlich Medal and Timber Industry Awards. He later gained and a Master’s Degree in Plant Science from the University of Tasmania. He has worked in both public and private forestry in NSW and Tasmania. Craig and his wife Rachelle joined with Brendan and De Arn Foley to open the Creation Discovery Centre Tasmania in 2021, adjacent Seahorse World. Craig also oversees management of Creation Research in Australia. Craig’s main passion is to see people saved in a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. He views evolution as a major deception in this world, especially to western culture. Craig will be speaking on the evidence for Noah’s Flood in Tasmania.
John Mackay
John Mackay, BSc, is an internationally respected creation speaker, author, educator, and field researcher who has dedicated his life to helping people understand the scientific and biblical case for Creation, and the founding director of Creation Research. A graduate in both Geology and Genetics from Queensland University, John spent many years teaching science in both state and private secondary schools. He has also lectured in geology at the tertiary level and was instrumental in establishing the Creation Research movement in Australia. John has publicly debated leading evolutionists and academics from major institutions including Oxford, Cambridge, and universities across Australia, Canada, the United States, and beyond. His global research and speaking ministry has taken him throughout the USA, UK, Europe, Canada, the Caribbean, New Zealand, Asia, and Australia, presenting evidence for Creation and Noah’s Flood. John will be speaking on the first six days of creation and their geological implications in ‘Genesis Geology.’


Prof Steve Taylor
Steve Taylor BSc, MEng, PhD, ACGI, FIEE, FInstP, CEng, is emeritus professor at the University of Liverpool in the School of Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Computer Science and is Chairman of the University Staff Christian Fellowship. He teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses in electromagnetics, nanotechnology and design. He was head of the mass spectrometry research group at the University which was responsible for the invention and development of the world’s smallest mass spectrometer. He is director of a University spin-out company seeking to commercialize mass spectrometry technology. Steve is a regular speaker on behalf of United Beach Missions and Young Life. He also speaks regularly in the church he attends and his presentations are wide-ranging from technical science to evangelistic outreach. Steve will be speaking on the most recent research into dinosaur soft tissue and evidence for a young earth.
Dr Diane Eager
Dr Diane Eager has a background in medicine, and was a lecturer in biomedical sciences at University of Canberra. She now works for Creation Research, writing, lecturing and doing background research for our newsletters, publications and DVDs. She is particularly interested in design in living things and how living things interact with one another, as well as developing a Biblical understanding of biology. Diane will be speaking on the Human Body and how its design points to a very intelligent Creator!
